ARF was established in 1996 as an Asian initiative to respond to the needs of vulnerable communities particularly in the areas of children education, child rights, women empowerment and youth leadership development.
ABOUT AMAN
The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) is a unifying force for peace and social action in Asia. Its innovative programs have affected change and bridged political and religious divides since its inception in 1990.
FEATURED PROGRAMS
Asian Fund for Relief and Development (AFRD)IIPDS Training Centre
International Institute of Peace and Development Studies (IIPDS) is located in Nong Chok district, Bangkok, approximately 35 km from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 50 km from Bangkok city center. This facility is used to host ARF- AMAN-IIPDS courses, workshops, forums and meetings. The centre is also for hire to external organizations. The meeting room can seat up to 40 participants with on-site accommodation also available.
Assistance to Emergency Relief
ARF responds to immediate disaster needs in collaboration with community based NGOs and international aid agencies. Its emergency teams have been assisting in the rebuilding of communities and delivery of critical aid through a number of distribution of essential items in manmade and natural crises-affected countries since 2004.
